Franklin Bolanos, LCSW

Franklin Bolanos, LCSW, is a mental health professional with over 10 years of clinical experience and a strong passion for helping individuals achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Franklin specializes in evidence-based treatments, focusing on a spectrum of mental health issues, particularly anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma. He possesses extensive experience in delivering behavioral therapies such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Additionally, he has obtained certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD from the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. Throughout his career, Franklin has gained considerable clinical experience across various therapeutic settings.

 

Previously, he provided patient care coordination and individual therapy as a clinical team lead at the Camden Center in Los Angeles. Furthermore, Franklin worked as a bilingual therapist at the Harbor-UCLA Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic in Torrance, CA, where he offered psychotherapy services to a diverse patient population and supervised graduate students in their clinical field work. In addition to his clinical work, Franklin has shared his knowledge and expertise as an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Social Work Program at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Through this role, he empowered aspiring social workers by equipping them with the necessary tools and insights to make a meaningful impact in the field. With his wealth of experience, Franklin Bolanos, LCSW, continues to make a positive difference in the lives of his clients, assisting them in their journey towards improved mental well-being and personal growth.
